The India AI Impact Summit 2026 aims to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across critical sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, and governance, according to details shared by the IndiaAI Mission.
Secretary MeitY S. Krishnan said AI must be treated as a horizontal, enabling technology capable of delivering productivity and efficiency gains across the economy. He emphasised that equitable access to AI infrastructure would allow countries to develop solutions tailored to their specific social and economic contexts.
The Summit’s agenda is guided by three core Sutras—People, Planet, and Progress—and implemented through seven thematic Chakras. Among them, AI for Economic Growth and Social Good focuses on scaling proven AI applications, while the Science Chakra aims to strengthen inclusive research ecosystems, particularly in the Global South.
Flagship initiatives include six international compendiums showcasing AI use cases in Health, Energy, Agriculture, Education, Gender, and Disabilities, along with a Research Symposium highlighting frontier AI research from Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
With over 15,000 global registrations already recorded across its challenges, the Summit is set to emerge as a major platform for applied, impact-driven AI collaboration.
