Canva has announced the integration of its design and AI capabilities into Perplexity Computer, enabling users to seamlessly transform AI-generated insights into polished, editable visual assets.
The collaboration aims to simplify workflows for small and growing businesses by bridging the gap between research, strategy, and content creation. Through the new Canva connector within Perplexity Computer, users can generate presentations, social campaigns, infographics, and brand kits directly from business insights, meeting notes, performance data, and live web context.
The integration comes at a time when content creation has become the leading use case for AI among small businesses, with 74 per cent relying on digital platforms to compete with larger enterprises. Perplexity, known for its AI-powered research and strategic insight capabilities, currently serves more than 100 million monthly active users globally.
By embedding Canva into Perplexity Computer, the two companies aim to reduce the manual effort typically required to move from AI-generated ideas to production-ready content. Businesses can now connect to Canva through the Connectors page, describe their requirements, and allow Perplexity Computer to generate a structured brief. Canva then converts the brief into editable, on-brand assets that can be refined and published across platforms.
The companies said the integration is designed to support fast-moving business environments where teams and founders often need to quickly turn insights into client presentations, marketing campaigns, proposals, or outreach materials.
The partnership also reflects the growing role of AI-powered design tools in business operations, as organisations increasingly look for ways to streamline creative workflows and accelerate decision-making.
With the integration, Canva further expands its position as a design AI platform supporting end-to-end creative workflows, while Perplexity strengthens its offering as an AI-driven productivity and research platform for businesses.
