California, US — QView Medical, the only company with FDA-approved artificial intelligence (AI) for breast ultrasound cancer detection, has announced a strategic partnership with Eve Wellness, the first provider to offer direct-to-consumer breast cancer screening.
The collaboration brings together QView’s cutting-edge AI platform and Eve Wellness’s patient-focused model, offering women — particularly those with dense breast tissue — a more accurate and accessible screening experience than mammography alone can provide.
“We see Eve Wellness as the next frontier in early detection, where AI, ultrasound, and accessibility converge to give women confidence and clarity that mammography by itself cannot,” said Bob Wang, founder and chief executive of QView Medical.
QView’s AI technology is integrated with GE Healthcare’s Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) system and is currently deployed across more than 100 clinical sites in the United States, including hospitals in Chicago, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles. Clinical trials have demonstrated that the system enhances cancer detection rates, especially among women with dense breast tissue — a group for whom traditional mammograms often fail to reveal tumours.
Dr Ian Grady, Medical Director at Eve Wellness, told KRON4 TV that the AI has shown remarkable accuracy:
“The AI technology has improved significantly. It’s been about three years since I’ve come across a breast cancer case that it wasn’t able to identify.”
Eve Wellness has spent the past three years developing a patient-centric, non-invasive screening model that combines QView’s AI with GE’s 3D whole-breast ultrasound imaging. The system captures the full breast and is reviewed by leading breast cancer specialists, aiming to minimise missed diagnoses while offering a comfortable, convenient alternative to hospital-based screening.
The service is particularly beneficial for:
-
Younger women under 40 who are often excluded from routine mammography programmes.
-
Women with dense breast tissue, where mammograms are less effective.

“Early detection saves lives, but mammography alone doesn’t always go far enough,” said Brendan Foley, co-founder of Eve Wellness. “By combining FDA-cleared AI with 3D whole-breast ultrasound, we’re offering women a more comprehensive and empowering approach to breast health.”
Together, QView Medical and Eve Wellness aim to set a new benchmark in breast cancer screening — one that is more effective, more inclusive, and firmly centred on the needs and comfort of women.
