Anthropic has announced a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology aimed at accelerating the adoption of its Claude AI platform across some of the world's largest enterprises and government organisations.
Under the partnership, DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers (FDEs) who will work directly within customer environments to integrate Claude into mission-critical systems spanning industries such as banking, insurance, aviation, manufacturing, and the public sector.
The collaboration marks a significant step in bringing generative AI and agentic workflows into highly regulated environments where security, compliance, and operational reliability are paramount.
Claude Powers DXC's AI-Native Operations Platform
Before expanding Claude's deployment to customers, DXC first implemented the technology across its own global operations, which support approximately 115,000 employees in more than 70 countries.
A key outcome of this internal adoption was the development of DXC OASIS, an AI-native orchestration platform launched in April 2026 to manage customers' IT operations. Claude serves as the default foundation model powering the platform's agentic workflows.
According to DXC, Claude also played a central role in building the platform itself. The company estimates that AI accelerated software development by a factor of ten, with more than 95 per cent of the platform's code generated by Claude and subsequently reviewed by software engineers.
The platform currently supports more than 50 DXC customers, with plans for broader global deployment.
Expanding AI Expertise Through Certified Engineers
As part of the alliance, DXC will recruit engineers from its existing workforce and certify them through Anthropic Academy, Anthropic's training and certification program for partner engineers.
The company has supplemented this training with its own curriculum tailored to the complex operational environments and mission-critical systems managed by DXC customers.
The certified engineers will focus on deploying AI solutions across four strategic areas:
Insurance: Modernising core systems and delivering AI-powered, context-aware solutions for insurers.
Modernisation as a Service (MaaS): Leveraging Claude to analyse, refactor, and modernise legacy codebases more efficiently.
Cybersecurity: Developing AI-powered security engineer subagents built on Claude Security for deployment across DXC's security operations centres.
Application Services: Embedding Claude-driven agents into application maintenance and management environments.
